Massey Bambara is the Senior Vice President and Market Executive of the Greater Bay Area Commercial Banking Office at Bank of America. Bank of America’s Commercial Banking Division provides a full range of banking services including credit, deposit, capital markets, corporate finance and investments to businesses with revenues from $20 million to $2 billion. A 23-year Bank of America associate, Mr. Bambara previously headed the North Coast Regional Commercial Banking Office since 1994, and the San Francisco office since 1999. In 1992 and 1993, he served as Senior Division Credit Risk Manager for California Commercial Banking Division in San Francisco.
Previously, he was a team leader for the San Francisco Commercial Banking Office. A long-time resident of Marin County, he serves as the bank’s Market President for the North Bay, which comprises Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties.
Mr. Bambara holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz. He also completed the Young Managers’ Program at the Darden School of the University of Virginia.
Active in his community, Mr. Bambara is a board member of the North Bay Council, and is a member of the Board of Governors of the Commonwealth Club. He is a former trustee of the San Francisco National Maritime Museum, and of the Marin Education Fund. He has been presented with Bank of America’s prestigious CEO Eagle Award for excellence, and Commercial Banking Division’s Leader of the Year Award.
Born in London, England, Mr. Bambara resides with his family in Corte Madera, California.
